About the company and the task

JobCloud is a platform that offers a range of digital recruitment solutions. It's portfolio includes renowned job portals such as Jobs.ch and Jobup.
My role required me to oversee content across 3 different brands. To address this, being the sole in-house designer, I developed an AI-powered image library, to ensure most image needs were met with more efficacy.
It was imperative to keep a cohesive visual language, make imagery easily accessible and to ensure a high-quality aesthetic. Here’s how I approached this task:

Goals for the image library:

1. Create a high-quality imagery for internal creators, marketing, and UX teams.
2. Ensure the images embody the brand’s values — encouraging, human, and inviting.
3. Increase the efficiency and independence of the teams.

Process:

Conceptualisation:
Conducted internal workshops with main stakeholders (marketing, UX, sales, employer branding), in order to understand their visual needs.
Defined the requirements for the AI image library: authentic, people-focused, with a warm colour palette, showcasing the diversity of the Swiss workforce.

AI Tool Selection:
Chose Midjourney as the AI tool for its capabilities in generating high-quality images. Created a Midjourney user friendly-guide for internal creators and our brand's own style code.

Internal Auditing:
Conducted feedback loops with main stakeholders in order to test and iterate imagery and also to ensure that the most significant needs were met.

Curation and Implementation:
Created clear guidelines in connection with our brand values and mood boards to contextualise and guide internal creators effectively.
Integrated the image library into the brand’s digital asset management system, categorised by themes for easy access and use.

Outcome:

1. Developed 2 AI-driven image libraries (B2B & B2C) with +380 high-quality, cohesive and unique visuals.
2. Significantly reduced time and costs associated with traditional photoshoots, stock image purchases, and image editing.
3. Enabled colleagues to use AI tools and templates, freeing up more time for quality assurance.
3. Achieved a 70% increase in content creation efficiency 🚀
